Our client is a professional ecological consultancy offering first class ecologists, ecology surveys and advice, with more than 25 years experience of tackling the complex interface between biodiversity and land-use planning.
They are currently seeking experienced Principal Ecologists for their expanding Hampshire based team.
The ideal candidate will posses;
Relevant degree (preferably in Ecology)
Experience of Project Management
Must hold at least one protected species license
Solid report writing skills Excellent botanical experience is preferred but not essential
Willingness to travel as required to meet project demands
Full, clean, UK driving license
Ideally you will be an enthusiastic individual who is committed to a career in consultancy, with good communication skills, a relevant degree and possibly a postgraduate qualification.
A protected species license is essential for this role (Great Crested Newt, Bat License etc) You will be responsible for the management and delivery of consultancy projects from inception to completion, which will include designing project briefs, production of quotes, fieldwork, provision of client advice, liaison with regulators, production of reports and other outputs and the management of sub-contractors.
